Raw Text (Chinese / Pinyin / English)

English

Many foreigners think all Chinese people can do kung fu and play table tennis, but actually it's just that more Chinese people like these two sports. Chinese people especially like to play table tennis, and in China you will find ping-pong tables everywhere. Sports like table tennis, badminton, and running don't require much, so they have all become good options for people to get exercise. People often say "Life lies in exercise," so many people go to the gym to play a few games as soon as the weekend comes. The name "ping-pong" is also very interesting; "ping" and "pong" are the sounds made when hitting the ball. When watching a table tennis match, especially when the players are serving, the audience must be quiet; speaking loudly or leaving their seats to walk around at will is prohibited.
